Koffmann Returns to the Kitchin

LEGENDARY French chef Pierre Koffmann has come out of retirement to stand in at prot?g? Tom Kitchin’s Edinburgh outpost.
Kitchin, who has stepped away from the stove to film the Great British Menu, studied under Koffmann at the legendary, three Michelin starred La Tante Claire.
Kitchin is notoriously averse to leaving the kitchen, but was more than happy to hand it over to his old mentor.
“I know I am in an extremely fortunate position to have a chef giving me a helping hand as I had to step away to allow this filming," he said.
"Koffmann is such an inspiration to me and I am so pleased my team get to see a bit of his fantastic skills and passion.”
Kitchin’s TV cook off is on the BBC TV tomorrow evening.
