The Attic, a luxurious cocktail and champagne bar from Greenwich hospitality company Inc Group opens tonight on the 48th floor of Pan Peninsula in London’s Docklands.

Designed by National Interior Designer of the Year winner Matt Rawlinson, The Attic has a grand, black granite bar as its centre piece, set with tigers eye stones flown in from India.

The surrounding black-covered walls and soft furnishings have a fifties-inspired style with shades of coffee, fawn and cinnamon, while the location in the UK’s tallest residential building gives 360-degree panoramic views of the capital, including Canary Wharf and the River Thames.

The Attic’s opening precedes Pan Peninsula’s first restaurant, The Gramercy, which will serve ‘fusion cuisine in a contemporary environment’ in a waterside location upon its launch in September.

Inc Group will be the sole hospitality operator at the 780-apartment building, which also houses a cinema and contemporary spa, adding the venue to their portfolio of 24 establishments in London, Leeds and Bristol that includes several restaurants and the Inc Club in the O2 Arena.
