Michelin-starred chefs Peter and Jonray Sanchez-Iglesias, owners of Casamia in Westbury on Trym, are backing a mentoring scheme for disadvantaged young people in Bristol.
Knife & Fork, which will run for four weeks from next month, and is organised by YouYou Mentoring. It is open to those aged 16 to 18 years old living in the Bristol area.
Successful applicants will create a Casamia dish at the chefs’ award winning restaurant. They will also get to experiment with cooking techniques, flavours and textures, and show-off their culinary skills at a special VIP dinner.
