Arena to hold London 2012 Olympics lecture

Jan Matthews, head of catering, cleaning and waste services for the London Organising Committee for the Olympic Games (LOCOG), is set to present the Arena Savoy Lecture on 20 March.

With the London 2012 Olympics on the horizon, the lecture will be dedicated to the hospitality industry's effort in supporting the Games. Matthews will address industry colleagues and give the real story of Olympic hospitality and catering so far, the challenges still to be faced, and the legacy that the event hopes to leave.

The Arena Savoy Lecture will be held at the Savoy Hotel, starting at 6pm with the formal lecture presentation, followed by a drinks reception and three-course dinner.
