The refurbishment sees upgrades to its 3,000sqm conference and events space, a reconfiguring of the public areas to introduce a new restaurant, bar and lobby, and adding a further 61 bedrooms to bring the total number of rooms and suites to 710.
The announcement follows news that Arora plans to develop two new hotels at London Heathrow: the Crown Plaza London – Heathrow Terminal 4, and the Holiday Inn Express London – Heathrow Terminal 4.
Surinder Arora, founder and chairman of the Arora Group, said: “The Arora Group continually assesses our portfolio, looking at the value an asset creates and the resources it takes to maintain it.
“This refurbishment is part of our strategy to deliver sound long term value and uphold our reputation for quality and integrity in everything we do. With this refurbishment our portfolio is in a very strong position.”
