Levantine restaurant concept Ceru is set to open its third pop-up restaurant in London this week.

The 34-cover restaurant will open at 135 Cannon Street on Wednesday (30 September) where it will open for breakfast, lunch and dinner from 7am to 10pm every day for the next three months.

Ceru's executive chef Tom Kime's menu will include a selection of cold breakfast pots, toasted wraps and pancakes as well as his speciality six hour slow-roasted lamb shoulder and apple, pomegranate and mint salad and chicken kebab marinated with lemon and paprika.

Drinks will include flavoured lemonades, craft beers from Partisan Brewery, cocktails and 12 Levantine wines available by the glass and carafe.

The venue will also host tasting events with artisan distillers, such as Half Hitch Gin and hold a supper club every Tuesday evening.

The Cannon Street Ceru pop-up will be the third to run in London while the business, which also offers an outside catering service and runs food-based events, looks for a permanent site.

Ceru co-owner Barry Hilton, previously of Yalla Yalla and Black & Blue told The Telegraph in February running pop-ups was a way the company could keep the business going while they sought a permanent site in London's competitive market.

"By running Ceru on tour, they keep the brand moving and profiting whilst they are on the lookout for a fixed site," a Ceru spokesperson told BigHospitality.

Previous Ceru pop-ups ran at Rathbone Place from December 2014 to April of this year and at Tower Bridge from June to September.
