Expansion Plans for Patisserie Holdings

High-end cafe business announces plans to rollout its Patisserie Valerie and Druckers Vienna patisserie chains. The move will more than treble business over the next three years.

PATISSERIE Holdings has announced plans to rollout its Patisserie Valerie and Druckers Vienna Patisserie chains, more than trebling business over the next three years.

The high-end cafes currently have a combined turnover of £25 million, but parent company Risk Capital Partners, says it has funds in place to pursue aggressive expansion for the Patisserie Holdings brands.

Risk Capital, a private equity investor that also has a stake in Giraffe restaurants, operates 13 Patisserie Valerie outlets and 40 Druckers, some of which it intends to convert to the Valerie brand.

By 2011 the company plans to own 150 sites, 125 of which will be Patisserie Valerie’s.
