L'Enclume scores Waitrose Good Food Guide hat-trick
Simon Rogan’s L’Enclume has been named the UK’s best restaurant for the third year running in the Waitrose Good Food Guide, writes M&C Allegra Foodservice.
The Cumbrian fine dining restaurant kept Restaurant Gordon Ramsay in second place while Jason Atherton’s Pollen Street Social jumped three places to third.
Robin Gill of the Dairy and the Manor, based in Clapham, south London, won chef of the year.
Steven Smith’s Freemasons at Wiswell pub in Lancashire was the top pub, beating Tom Kerridge’s Hand & Flowers.
