Legacy Hotels and Resorts has signed a three-year management contract to run The Three Swans in Hungerford, Berkshire, bringing its total portfolio up to 20 hotels.

Now the 13th property run under management contract by Legacy, the 25-bedroom Three Swans has a 60-cover bistro/restaurant and conference facilities for up to 65 delegates.

Andy Townsend, chief executive officer of Legacy Hotels said brothers and operators Steve and John Hodges were keen to take the hotel to ‘the next level’.

“They have invested in the hotel with an additional 10 new guestrooms since they acquired the property to ensure its three star status, and we will continue to build on its reputation as well as adding the benefits of being part of the Legacy group,” he said.

Legacy, which was founded in 2005, also manages the four-star Legacy Rose and Crown near Salisbury.
