London’s hotels offered free operations checklist to help prepare for 2012 Olympics

Hospitality and leisure consultancy Hotel and Resort Advisers has drawn up a checklist for hoteliers in the capital to help ensure they are properly prepared for London 2012.

The free, self-evaluation document covers all aspects of hotel operations, from reception to room service and housekeeping to HACCP standards and can be downloaded from Hotel and Resort Advisers’ website .

“It is crucial that the hotel industry be prepared for the Olympic and Paralympic Games and the millions of people who will come to London in order to watch the numerous events,” said Hotel and Resort Advisers’ director of operations. “These events are vitally important for the reputation of our beautiful city, and could lead to an increase of the tourism activity for years to come.”
