High-profile chefs Tom Sellers and Michael O’Hare are to team up for a special two-day lunch and dinner service at Sellers' Restaurant Story in London later this year.

‘Story Behind The Curtain’ will run on 25 and 26 May with a £90 seven-course lunch menu (£155 with drinks pairings), and a £150 nine-course dinner (£180 with matching drinks).

Diners will also receive a welcome cocktail by Matt Whiley, aka Talented Mr Fox, who oversees the cocktail lists at both Restaurant Story and O’Hare’s latest restaurant The Rabbit in the Moon in Manchester.

“I am very excited to be cooking Man Behind The Curtain food in London for the first time, and to be doing so alongside a chef like Tom, who is an incredible young, driven talent,” says O’Hare.

Both chefs have worked separately at Noma in Copenhagen, which has topped the list of the World’s 50 Best Restaurant four times, and are known for their distinctive styles of cooking.

Sellers opened Restaurant Story in London’s Bermondsey in 2012, and the restaurant gained a Michelin star five months later when he was just 26 years-old.

O’Hare won a Michelin star for his Leeds restaurant The Man Behind The Curtain in 2015, and opened The Rabbit in the Moon at the National Football Museum in Manchester in January.

“It’s a real pleasure to bring such an exciting chef to London and I can’t wait to welcome Michael into the Story kitchen,” says Sellers.

Story Behind The Curtain follows the success of Sellers' collaboration with his former chef colleague Tom Aikens at Restaurant Story last month.
