'Gamer's paradise' hotel to launch in the UK

German chain pentahotels is to launch a new gamer-centric hotel in the uk.

Designed to feel like the 'chill-out area of a cool club', all PentaPlayerPad rooms will feature a Sony Playstation 4, table football, pinball machines and free WiFi.

Guests can even order pizzas, burgers and club sandwiches to their rooms 24/7 in case of late-night gaming sessions.

The design will launch in Brussels, Liege and Paris before being rolled out to all pentahotels worldwide by 2017.

Alastair Thomann, managing director of pentahotels, said: "We are looking to further expand our position as a key trendsetter in the innovative hotel segment.

"The feedback from customers has been extremely positive and we are working on equipping more if our 5,086 rooms worldwide with gamer consoles and similar gadgets."

Pentahotels operates six UK hotels in Derby, Reading, Ipswich, Warrington, Birmingham and Inverness.
