Bill's wins Operator of the year at R200 Awards 2014
The Richard-Caring back restaurant chain, which has shown impressive growth in the last couple of years, took the top accolade at the awards and dinner at Francesco Mazzei’s L'Anima Café.
Brazilian barbecue restaurant Cabana won the title for Best Overall Restaurant Operator with less than 20 sites, while Lancashire-based food-led pub group The Seafood Pub Company was named Pub Company of the Year.
Other winners included Wright Brothers, Spitalfields for the Most Effective Restaurant Design and Byron, which won Innovation of the Year for its Byron Burger Club. Chicken chain Nando’s won the title of Best Value Restaurant Operator with over 20 sites and Burger & Lobster was named Best Value Restaurant Operator with less than 20 sites.
Red's True BBQ was a double winner on the night, with the brand taking home the award for Best New Scaleable Concept and founders James Douglas and Scott Munro winning Personalities of the Year.
