This month Restaurant magazine is heading to Bristol for its next R200 Club event to get to grips with why the city is fast becoming one of the top restaurant destinations in the UK.

On 22 March the magazine is holding a half-day conference where speakers including Peter Sanchez-Iglesias, chef-patron of the Michelin-starred Casamia and Alex Reilley, founder of the nationwide all-day dining group Loungers will discuss what it takes to be a success in the city.

Also speaking on the day will be MEATliquor’s founder Scott Collins, Griff Holland from healthy fast food brand Friska and Nathan Lee from leading Bristol bar and restaurant group Hyde & Co, who will give their insight into the Bristol restaurant scene.

The conference will be followed by a tour of the city’s restaurants and bars, including Pi Shop, Peter Sanchez-Iglesias’ recently opened pizzeria; and Bambalan, the latest venture from the Hyde & Co

The tour will also take in L’Osteria, the first UK location for the German-based pizza and pasta restaurant; and Cosy Club - the all-day dining venue located in a grand former-banking hall.

The conference and restaurant tour is free to members of Restaurant magazine’s R200 club. For more information and to book your place email hester.doran@william-reed.com
