In the most recent of our Restaurant Eats Out series, we visited four of London’s most exciting sites across a vast array of flavours and cuisines.

Beginning with Laotian favourites from the Lao Café, from the team behind Rosa’s Thai Café, the group then moved on to Ginza Onodera, with its sushi counter, teppanyaki counter, and Robata grill.

A massive steamed bao bun fight (almost) ensued at The Bun House in Soho when the site’s signature Cantonese-style dish was served – including the Instagram favourite custard bun ‒, before finishing the day at Hot Pot, where a build-your-own actual hot pot sits in the middle of the table, with a piquant choice of broth, meat and fish, and spice.

Attendees included representatives from restaurant groups Wahaca, Hakkasan, D&D London, Ping Pong, Pizza Hut, the Seafood Pub Group, Iberica, and sponsor and restaurant reservation platform Quandoo.
