The 20th Restaurant Show opens

Top chefs, leading suppliers and members of the hospitality industry gather under one roof at The Restaurant Show which opens at Earls Court 2 today

Chris Galvin, Michael Caines and Pascal Proyart are among the chefs who will demonstrate live today at The Restaurant Show as it opens at Earls Court 2.

 

The show, now in its 20th year, was officially opened by chefs Atul Kochhar, Chris Galvin and Michael Caines at 10am. Caines said: "It`s the 20th anniversary which is quite an achievement, so enjoy it and have a great time."

 

In all, eight Michelin-starred chefs will demonstrate at the show with 20 in total invited along. Chefs Cyrus Todiwala and Pascal Proyart will be cooking at their on-site restaurants.

 

Other highlights of the show are the Knorr Chef of the Year competition, Barry Callebaut`s Chocolate Masters competition and food and drink matching.

 

For those wanting to catch up with their suppliers, there will be 350 suppliers of food, wine, spirits, interiors, tableware, technology and more in the Ceda Catering Equipment Village and the Food and Drink Market.
