August launch for Brugal Blanco Especial rum

White rum Brugal Blanco Especial is to be launched in the UK this August to give drinkers the chance to trade up to a premium brand this summer.

Distilled, matured and bottled in the Dominican Republic, Brugal Blanco Especial (40 per cent ABV) is made from golden rum that has been double distilled and then triple filtered.

All its ingredients are actively sourced from farms on the island and the brand has been managed by the Brugal family for five generations.

Emma Heath, marketing controller at Maxxium UK, distributor of the rum in the UK, said: “There are over four million white rum drinkers in the UK and we wanted to give bartenders and consumers alike the opportunity to trade up to a premium and less mainstream alternative to other white rums on the market."

Brugal Blanco Especial's packaging features netting, front and rear embossing and the distinctive Brugal eyebrow logo. It will be available nationwide at wholesalers from August.
