Product details:

The updated range of cookers, measuring 900mm in width, includes gas, electric, ceramic plate, solid-top, fry-top and pasta cookers. Each is a new height than before, with new energy saving features offering higher performance for less gas and electricity and better insulation.

USP:

Roger Flanagan, managing director of Universal Foodservice Equipment, which manages the Baron brand in the UK, said: “The baron concept is all about design, style and reliability. It's the reliability that is really the key; many other suppliers will tell you that their equipment is heavy duty, but it's not. This is heavy duty. We cannot be beaten in weight or power output in this market.”

Cost:

The cost of the units is £12,500, but attendees of The Restaurant Show this week can make use of a half-price discount if they purchase at the show.

Availability:

The product is available now and can be bought from the Baron stand at The Restaurant Show (E30), or by calling Universal Foodservice Equipment on 01883 341800.

Why you should buy it:

“It's beautiful, it's strong and it performs,” added Flanagan. “If you compare us with others, we are a little more stylish, a little heavier, last a little longer and cost a little more.

“Baron has always been renowned for having that middle market, heavy duty equipment. This new range shows that we are moving towards greener catering equipment, with the new energy saving features.”

Additional information:

Baron, part of the Ali Group, has been importing catering equipment to the UK for 11 years under the guidance of Universal Foodservice Equipment Limited. The company also has a kitchen design planning operation, with partners that will go and help design the kitchen and fit it out when a Baron product is bought.
