Black Rock Grill has launched a new rental service for its volcanic rock oven, which could help operators deliver extra value for diners.

Available from 12p per cover, the “Roxy” rental package consists of an oven, containing 27 volcanic rocks, porcelain platters, POS and a health and safety training DVD.

Peter Hatter, director of Black Rock Grill, said: “In view of the challenging economic times, operators need reassurance that any investment they make in their business will deliver. This package has so many unbeatable USP’s – it’s 100 per cent tax deductable and there are no repair or service costs to worry about.”

The oven needs no ventilation and can be easily placed on a bar or counter corner.
