Coffee specialist Cherizena has launched its limited edition Christmas coffee for 2014 with a recipe that has been slightly tweaked.

Product details:

The beans were created by flavouring the Colombian Excelsior medium bean with a combination of rum, hazelnut, cinnamon, vanilla, orange and pecan nut flavours. The Christmas coffee has an aroma reminiscent of plum pudding. This year a little more vanilla flavour has been added to the blend.

The Christmas Coffee flavour contains no syrups or coatings.

USP:

The coffee meets the recent trend for flavoured coffees and was created to reflect the festive season. It can also be sold in bespoke packs for trade customers.

Availability:

The Leicestershire-based firm has already begun taking orders from cafés, restaurants, hotels, bars and pubs for the up-coming festive season.

The Christmas coffee is available in own-brand, bespoke or personalised packs for retailers, cafés and other trade customers, or branded as Cherizena coffee. It is on sale in a variety of pack sizes, as beans or ground, and either regular or decaffeinated coffee.

Why you should buy it:

“Cherizena’s Christmas Coffee has proved to be our most popular limited edition flavoured blend,” said Kate Jones, who runs the family owned firm. “It makes a great addition to beverage menus during the festive season or on the shelves as part of a Christmas range. Each year we sell more than the year before, and we’re expecting strong demand for the Christmas Coffee ahead of the 2014 festive season, as the trend for flavoured coffees increases.”
