TrustYou Review Analyst monitors reviews and other information published online about a restaurant or hotel and analyses opinions to give owners a review score.

The platform, which monitors top travel review and social media sites in 10 languages, calculates metrics as well as evaluating qualitative sentiments to give restaurateurs and hoteliers a rounded view of their business.

Chief executive and co-founder Benjamin Jost said the ‘sentiment-driven’ technology would enable hospitality businesses to engage their target markets and would help them identify specific ways to improve for customers.

“We see clear gaps in the market where both consumers and businesses are losing faith in reviews and ratings. With our technology, we take the inaccuracy and guesswork out of online reviews and bring them to a level that everyone can trust,” he said.

TrustYou was founded in 2008 in Germany and last year bought out the US-based company ReviewAnalyst. Its global customers so far include InterContinental Hotels, Best Western Hotels and Omni Hotels & Resorts.
