Hubbard Ice Systems unveils Scotsman 'Super-Supercube' ice machine

The Super-Supercube icemaker from Scotsman can create supercube or thimble style ice cubes weighing 60g (standard ice cubes are 20g) which are made by spraying water up into inverted cups, allowing impurities to drop out and leave a pure, clear ice cube with stand-out appeal in the glass.
Two ‘super-supercuber’ icemakers are available, the MC46 and the MC1210. oth are modular machines that are designed to sit on top of separate ice storage bins with the MC46 able to produce up to 300kg of ice per day and the MC1210 up to 660kg.
USP:
Typically machines make supercubes in a small (8g) or standard (20g size) with just a few able to make large 39g cubes, but Hubbard, which markets the Scotsman range in the UK says this size of cube at 60g stands out for its largeness.
