Brown Cow Organics has launched a range of its live organic yoghurts specifically produced in a size and design to be used by hospitality sector operators.

The artisan food producer has launched a 100ml size range of its yoghurts designed to be used for breakfast or room service in hotels, as a dessert or afternoon tea product in restaurants or as a bar snack.

Screw-top

Operators can order cases of 18 jars of the product in a single flavour or one of two mixed flavour cases.

The two mixed flavour cases are named ‘Classic Collection’ containing honey, vanilla and natural, or ‘Fruit Collection’ which contains three flavours of organic fruit compote (apricot, blueberry and strawberry) topped with organic natural yoghurt.

The yoghurt is served in screw-top glass jars with tamper-proof labelling.

Guernsey herd

The Somerset-based company produce yoghurts using organic whole milk from a Guernsey herd of cows that are born, raised and grazed on organic acres on the Perridge Farm in Pilton near Shepton Mallet.

All the hand-processed yoghurts contain natural and organic ingredients without artificial colours, additives or preservatives and are also free of genetically modified organisms. The final product contains just five per cent fat.

The jars are all made using recyclable and re-usable British glass.
