Product details:

SecureTrading, operator of a secure payment gateway and Gift Voucher Solutions have joined forces to provide a web shop selling gift vouchers which can be integrated into a restaurant or hotel's existing website. The service, which is Level 1 PCI DSS compliant, includes an integrated online payments system, personalised eVoucher mail tool and an automated printing service.

USP:

Gift Voucher Solutions, does not charge commission to sell gift vouchers as some third party websites will do, instead it charges a fixed annual fee for its Software as a Service. As the service is integrated into an existing website, it means traffic can remain on your website and won't go elsewhere too.

Cost:

From £595 to £995 per year.

Availability:

For direct enquiries email sales@giftvouchersolutions.com  or call 0845 833 5591. For more information visit www.giftvouchersolutions.com  and www.securetrading.com .

Why should you buy it?:

It may help you gain a share of the gift voucher market, which the UK Gift Card and Voucher Association (UKGCVA) believes is worth £4.6 billion with predictions of 14 per cent growth in 2012.

Dawn Anderson, managing director of Gift Voucher Solutions, said: "With everything else, the gift voucher industry is moving towards the digital era and eVouchers, once deemed the latest innovation, are now giving way to virtual gifts, distributed in various forms such as emails, social media via Facebook or text message, so such changes should be embraced to keep up with the customers’ needs”.

Roger Erskine-Hill, marketing director at Hillbrooke Hotels, who have been trialling the service said: “The combination of Gift Voucher Solutions and SecureTrading allowed us to exchange several very basic gift voucher pages on our hotel websites with highly professional, well designed, online alternatives. The resulting increase in voucher sales has more than justified this move.”
