Available in two versions, Sweet Freedom is a natural, low-GL (Glycaemic Load) sweetener made only from apples, grapes and carob. The sweetener version has a neutral, sugar-like taste while the syrup version is darker and has a richer, molasses-like flavour.

With 25 per cent fewer calories than sugar, the sweeteners can be used as a healthy and vegan-friendly substitute for sugar, honey and syrups in a range of recipes and drinks, and are currently used by Raymond Blanc’s Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons.

Sweet Freedom is available in pourable 5 litre bottles and 20 litre tubs for caterers. For more information and other stockists, visit the company’s website.
