Restaurant reservation service Toptable has launched a French-language version as part of plans to grow the brand globally.
The website currently features more than 30,000 restaurants in 14 countries but has so far only been available in the English language.
As part of its expansion plans the company said it will be making the site available in multiple languages in the future.
Founder Karen Hanton said: “It is very exciting to take toptable to new and different consumer groups and we are already learning a great deal about booking habits as our geographic reach increases.
"Our consumer base at present spans Europe and New York and our service appeals not only to the indigenous population but also to travellers who want reliable advice and booking prior to a trip.”
Toptable.com is also a restaurant review and search site and works with many restaurants to give special offers and promotions to users.
