Bloomfield is currently executive chef and co-owner of three New York venues – The Spotted Pig (one Michelin star), The Breslin (one Michelin star) and The John Dory Oyster Bar. She will cook two lunches and two dinners on 30 and 31 October.
The Midlands-born chef has previously worked at Kensington Palace, Bibendum, the Brackenbury and the River Café. Her appearance at St John will coincide with the UK publication of her cookbook, A Girl and her Pig.
Bloomfield’s residency mirrors Henderson’s regular visits to New York. Over the past four years, ‘Fergustock’ has seen the St John co-founder bring his signature dishes to April’s NYC restaurants.
