The Coach and Horses pub appoints a new Head Chef to takeover the kitchen

The Coach and Horses in Clerkenwell has appointed former Westminster Catering College student Henry Herbert as its new Head Chef.

The award-winning Victorian pub has soared in popularity after reopening in 2003, giving Herbert a tough act to follow.

Bing a fifth generation baker, Herbert claims he is passionate about food and sources most of his ingredients from small, local suppliers, foraging where he can.

Owners Giles and Colette Webster, said: “When Henry worked here as a student, his enthusiasm and talent delighted us and our customers. He returns with the experience and maturity to produce food we’re immensely proud of.”
