Peach pub and Barnham Broom hotel appointments

Pub group Peach employs a new GM for The Thatch in Thame and Barnham Broom hotel in Norwich appoints a manager for its new spa

Food-led pub group Peach has appointed a general manager to run The Thatch in Thame, the pub the company took over from The Restaurant winners Jeremy and Jane Hooper earlier this year.

 

Former Fifth Floor cafe bar manager Frazer Sutherland (pictured) joins the group following a five year stint running his own pub, The Bell at Beachampton in Buckinghamshire.

 

He said: “I joined Peach because I knew their reputation, liked their values and really wanted to work with them.

 

“In coming to Thame, I’m hoping to build on the great work that’s already been done here and make The Thatch the place to eat and drink in the area.”

 

Peach took over the running of The Thatch in May when the Hoopers decided to leave to set up their own venture in Cornwall.

 

The Norfolk-based hotel Barnham Broom has also appointed a manager to run its recently opened spa.

 

Qualified therapist Fay Whitehouse will join senior therapist Emma Johnson and therapist Hayley Alden at The Spa, set within the grounds of the 46-bedroom hotel.
