Fellow celebrity chef Jamie Oliver launched his barbecue restaurant Barbecoa at the St. Paul’s development in October last year, coinciding with the launch of One New Change itself.
Now Ramsay, who along with Gordon Ramsay Holdings managing director Stuart Gillies, has finally opened his first restaurant since The Savoy Grill at Mayfair’s Savoy Hotel in October last year.
Designed by Russell Sage, the restaurant and bar fills a warehouse-style space with reclaimed furnishings and 1970s-themed artwork and lighting creating a comfortable, industrial feel.
Restaurant magazine editor William Drew went down to the restaurant during soft launch to interview the two chefs, the feature of which will appear in the October edition of the magazine (out 5 October).
