The wines, available in six bottle sets are produced by a boutique vineyard located 45 miles from Christchurch on the South Island, New Zealand where producers use only hand-picked grapes for them.
Included in the box is a Pinot Noir, a Riesling and a Late Harvest Chardonnay, designed to be paired with desserts. Both the Pinot Noir and the Late Harvest Chardonnay (2009 vintage) have been recommended by wine writer Oz Clarke and all have picked up medals in the International Wine Challenge.
Waterloo Wines owner Paul Tutton said the wines were particularly suited for matching with food served at this time of year in restaurants and at home.
“The Christmas wines have been especially chosen because of their perfect pairing with traditional or alternative Christmas seasonal fare,” he said.
"They are best matched with food and tend to be understated. They don’t jump out in a glass especially at tastings, so its great news that they keep winning awards.”
The trade price for the six wines from the warehouse in Borough, London, is £53 (excl. VAT).
