Hobart have added a new water-saving feature to its existing FXP range of undercounter dishwashers that can save operators money

Hobart has relaunched its FXP range of undercounter dishwashers with a new water-saving feature that uses steam to rinse dishes and glasses clean.

The new Vapo Rinse ECO feature is claimed to save up to 56 per cent water and detergent during the wash cycle, in which items are rinsed with water to remove fine particles of soil, and up to 70 per cent in the rinse aid cycle, during which steam fills the machine, forming a thin film that completely covers each item and removes residual detergent.

As the FXP range already operates economically with a low energy consumption, the addition of the new Vapo Rinse ECO helps to reduce operators’ overall carbon footprint as well as operating costs, making it a more environmentally friendly machine.

The new feature marks a step forward for Hobart towards its vision of ‘washing without water’.
