ISD solutions is expanding its offering of energy efficient modular walk in cold and freezer rooms for the hospitality sector.

Product details:

The MISA range has 14 sizes with storage volumes from 3.1m³ to 16.7m³, and temperatures from -20 to +5 degrees. The units use 100mm thick high-density isothermal polyurethane panels to provide insulation and make them more energy efficient.

The off-the-peg cold rooms are supplied with floor, ceiling and wall panels, an integrated refrigeration unit, digital controls and lighting. The units have a 'FASTFIT' system using a patented cam lock fastener to minimise installation costs, and the finished surface with rounded and internal coved corners enables easy cleaning for good food hygiene.

The MISA cold rooms are Food Standard’s Agency HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point) compliant and include a range of additional features such as illuminated internal safety release, and integrated mono-block plant.

USP:

The units provide an off-the-shelf easy to clean solution which is well-suited for hotels, restaurants and fast food outlets, as well as pubs and catering companies. Customers are also offered flexibility over the choice of room size, compressor specification, shelving and installation preferences, as well as options for strip curtains, windows, sliding doors, floor options for walk-in or trolley access, and remote condensing units.

Why you should buy it:

ISD Solutions’ director Andrew Hudspith said: “The demand for modular cold storage solutions is growing as small businesses realise the value of ‘walk-in' solutions, with a single access door. These offer not only efficient safe storage of perishable goods, but reduced energy consumption - now the second largest cost factor for the hospitality sector.”
