Australian-owned hotel management company StayWell Hospitality Group is to expand its UK business through a new partnership with Fiveways Hospitality.

The newly formed Master Licensing Agreement will help StayWell to grow its Park Regis and Leisure Inn brands in the UK.

Currently StayWell manages the 253-bedroom Park Regis hotel in Birmingham and is set to run the 125-bedroom Park Regis Shoreditch when construction is completed.

Simon Wan, group CEO at StayWell Hospitality Group said it planned to secure another four hotels under the two brands in the UK over the next four years as part of the group's plans to reach 100 hotels globally in the next three years.

“The United Kingdom and Europe as a whole, presents a great opportunity for our Park Regis and Leisure Inn brands, especially after the successful opening of Park Regis Birmingham in March 2016,”  he said.

"Fiveways Hospitality has a well established reputation and our partnership will deliver not only opportunities for further growth for StayWell in new destinations and cities but also offer top-shelf operational support to our hotel teams within the region."

Fiveways Hospitality managing director Stuart Broster said: "Europe is crying out for new hotel brands which are competitively priced and this is exactly what Park Regis and Leisure Inn will offer.

“Birmingham is the UK’s second largest city and a prime platform to launch from in partnership with Fiveways Hospitality."
