The new ‘budget calculator’ is available free of charge to the whole industry, and not just to members, said the trade group.
Neil Robertson, CEO of BII, said: “I am extremely pleased to be able to announce the availability of this new calculator, developed by our Business Doctor Trevor Brown CBII.
"Whilst his comprehensive range of business tools are normally only available free to BII Members, George Osborne’s budget means that this is a time when the whole industry needs all the help that it can get, so we are pleased to offer this to all those working in the industry”
The new calculator, which uses Microsoft Excel, re-prices products in line with the rises in duty announced in Wednesday’s budget.
The new workbook can be found on the BII’s website.
