Modern Peruvian restaurant Coya will open its second London site at the new Angel Court development in London, joining The Natural Kitchen and Notes, who will both open their eighth sites there.

The 24-storey development, situated in the heart of the City, will primarily house office space, but owner Mitsui Fudosan UK and development partner Stanhope said a 'varied leisure offer' would be central to its success.

Eiichiro Onozawa, managing director of Mitsui Fudosan UK, said: “An important part of our strategy at Angel Court has always been to create a genuine sense of place at the scheme through the strength of our food and beverage offer.

"By signing three hugely popular brands, we are confident that we are not only delivering a vibrant and exciting environment for our future office occupiers, but also the wider area as a whole.”

Earlier this year Coya, which operates restaurants in London, Miami and Dubai, announced plans for its second London site although was unable to confirm its location. Mitsui Fudosan UK and Stanhope confirmed it had signed for a 4,500 sq ft site in the southern-most section of the scheme’s ground floor.

Healthy all-day-dining brand The Natural Kitchen has taken a 6,000 sq ft site in the Copthall Avenue unit, across the building’s ground and lower floors while specialty coffee, food and wine company Notes, has also signed for 1,500 sq ft in the unit to the south of the building’s reception.

Angel Court is expected to be completed in December.

Nash Bond acted for Mitsui Fudosan UK and Stanhope. JLL London Unlimited acted for The Natural Kitchen and Dean Gambles and Company acted for Coya.
