Ed’s Easy Diner to open first al fresco site at Brent Cross

1950s-style American diner chain, Ed's Easy Diner, is to open its first alfresco unit and the ninth site in the UK for the group at the Brent Cross Shopping Centre, North London, at the end of March 2012.

The 377sq.ft site will cater for 12 covers within a sheltered area in front of the counter plus communal seating that provides a further 100 covers shared with the other outdoor operators at The Patio space near the John Lewis entrance.

Andrew Guy, director of operations for Ed’s Easy Diner said: “We’re delighted to be opening our first outdoor unit at Brent Cross, a landmark return to one of London’s busiest shopping centres. Offering a unique ambiance, our brand of stateside specialties available for takeaway, combined with our trademark service with a smile, provides customers with the perfect break in their shopping day.”

The restaurant, will feature trademark stainless-steel serving hatch cladding, neon signage and signature rocket ships signage. The food offering will also match the other Ed's Easy Diner units with traditionaly American meals as well as hamburgers, hot dogs and milkshakes.
