Chelsea based The Good Life Eatery is bringing its ‘clean food with attitude’ to a second site opening in Marylebone in early May.

The 24-cover restaurant will feature new menu items such as Chicken Lettuce Cups with Tomato Salsa alongside signature dishes Skinny Benedict, a take on eggs benedict with Saffron Yoghurt Hollandaise; Paleo Waffles; and Acai Smoothie Bowls.

Founders Yasmine Larizadeh and Shirin Kourous opened the original Chelsea site in 2013 out of a desire to provide a 'continental, fast, casual and healthy dining option' that the pair felt was missing in the UK.

“Two years on and London is experiencing a ‘wellness wave’ and a whole new approach to food,” they said.

“Eating clean shouldn’t feel like a chore. At The Good Life, it’s about enjoying the food you eat whilst nourishing your body at the same time.”

The pair credited their success to loyal customers spreading the word through social media, ‘guys and girls who are all united in the desire to raise their health game’.

Last year Horizon's reported that diners are increasingly influenced by health and lifestyle factors when choosing where to eat, with restaurants encouraged to offer a greater variety of vegetarian and gluten free options.

The new Good Life Eatery site will open daily for breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner at 69 Marylebone Lane, London, W1U 2PH.
