  • The Michelin-starred Cinnamon Collection is to open 10 new sites​ following a £10m investment from its new owners Boparan Restaurant Holdings. Executive chef Vivek Singh will personally oversee a regional expansion of both the Cinnamon Kitchen and Cinnamon Soho brands.
  • Ten finalists have been announced in the race to become 2017's National Chef of the Year.​ The competitors, selected by a panel of 40 judges chaired by Clare Smyth, will now prepare for the live final at The Restaurant Show on 4 October.
