Interest in the 60-cover brasserie, which opened its doors in the historic city centre today, has been high since March when the chef revealed plans to open it with business partner and head chef Paul Tamburrini.
The Honours will open for lunch and dinner Tuesday to Saturday and lunch on Sunday, serving a French-Scottish menu including Rabbit a la Moutarde with Pommes Sautées (£16.95) and Poached Fillet of Sea Bream with Peas & Onion à la Française (£14.50). There will also be a small bite menu.
Wishart said: “Opening a brasserie is a long term personal ambition that has at last come to fruition. I love the energy and buzz that a brasserie creates and it allows a much more informal style of dining. My business partner, Paul Tamburrini has done an excellent job putting together a large and varied menu."
