Noodle Nation comes to Woking

The oriental restaurant chain opens a fifth outlet in Woking, defying warnings of expansion during the credit crunch

Despite mounting pressure to avoid expansion during the credit crunch, oriental restaurant chain Noodle Nation has launched its fifth outlet in Woking.

With a further four branches in High Wycombe, Oxford, Maidenhead and Aylesbury, Noodle Nation is a family business operated by siblings Lai-Yee, Kwong and Ming Lin.

 

Inspired by the street hawker cafes of Hong Kong, the Lins opened their first branch in High Wycombe in 2000, serving a varied yet traditional Chinese menu in a sharing table environment.

 

Steven Chown, Senior Relationship Manager with NatWest Commercial Banking who provided funding for the expansion, said: “I would like to congratulate the Noodle Nation team on the launch of their new restaurant. The company offers delicious oriental cuisine served in modern and comfortable surrounds. I wish the team every success with their expanding business.”

 

Noodle Nation has also stated it is looking for further sites in the London area in which to expand.
