London burger restaurant Patty & Bun has announced plans to open its fourth site in the capital next year.

The company, which opened its first permanent site in James Street in 2012 following a series of pop-ups, has secured the former The Stockpot site on Old Compton Street in Soho for its latest restaurant.

Situated across the ground floor and basement levels, the 1,500 sq ft restaurant will feature the same stripped-back interiors as Patty & Bun's James Street restaurant and serve the same selection of burgers and sides.

Patty & Bun founder Joe Grossman said: "The next opening for Patty & Bun was something we had to consider very carefully and we were provided with this great option.  Now, we look forward to bringing the ultimate comfort food and a truly memorable burger experience to the West End.”

Kit Alexander of property agents Shelley Sandzer which secured the deal for Patty & Bun, said: "Old Compton Street is one of Soho’s hotspots for cool dining brands and we have secured a great site for Patty & Bun.  It is such a busy area that draws people in from all over London and we are sure that the brand will make a massive success of the location.”

Patty & Bun Old Compton Street will follow the opening of Patty & Bun London Fields which opened earlier this year in Hackney.  The company also operates a site at Liverpool Street.
