People on the Move in Hospitality: August 2012

Andrew Byrne, general manager, Thistle Hyde Park

Thistle Hotels has announced the appointment of Andrew Byrne as general manager of its Hyde Park hotel.

Byrne will oversee the day-to-day management of the hotel and its staff, along with the overall direction of the hotel. With a degree in hospitality and over 14 years in the industry, he brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the role.

He previously worked in operations manager roles for Principal Hayley and Marriott Hotels.
