The reality TV star opened the New York Coffee Club café in East Grinstead in 2011, and is reportedly turning his back on the limelight to focus on a food-led opening.
Andre told Best magazine: “I’m doing something quite different. I’m opening up a chain of restaurants later this year.
"I’ve enjoyed having my coffee shops but now I’m ready to do something a bit bigger.
"I know it’s a risk, but I’m very excited about it. I love food and I love people."
A representative for Andre declined to comment on the plans but hinted that there would be an ‘official’ announcement later this year.
The Australian singer launched New York Coffee Club café with his brothers Peter and Michael after struggling to find good quality coffee in the UK.
The trio opened a second site in Brighton in 2012, though the café is currently closed while it relocates in the city.
New York Coffee Club serves two types of own-blend coffee, freshly made baguettes and bagels and features a dedicated children’s play area.
