The Bocuse d'Or 2013 in pictures

The UK team scored highly at the Bocuse d'Or 2013 in Lyon last week, taking fourth place in the international competition - our highest ever result - as well as picking up the Best Meat and Best Commis awards. 

BigHospitality followed the UK team - Simpson's head chef Adam Bennett and his commis chef Kristian Curtis, coach Nick Vadis, president Brian Turner and chairman John Williams - out to the competition at the international trade show Sirha at Lyon's Eurexpo on 30 January. 

Take a look through these pictures which chart the UK team's journey through the competition, which saw France take top place for the seventh time since it started in 1987.
