UK operators have until 29 February to enter their establishment for the categories including Boutique Hotel, Business Hotel and Conference Hotel. Entries can be made for the Europe region with nominations announced in March before travel and tourism professionals around the world vote with all the winners from each region progressing to the Grand Final In India.

Cooke, president and founder, WTA said: “Although 2011 continued to challenge every strata of travel and tourism, all our winners demonstrated their world-class pedigree in the face of adversity. In 2012 we are looking for those organisations that are spearheading the global recovery of travel and tourism by outperforming their peers and offering something new and exciting.”
Self nominations for the 2011 awards rose by 28 percent compared to the previous year with UK winners including Dukes London and Premier Inn .
