Vinopolis in a Box

London’s Vinopolis is offering two for one tickets for its Spirit of Vinopolis tour on Father’s Day. In addition, the wine and spirit venue has also launched the Vinopolis in a Box gift set, priced at £80, featuring a bottle of 12-year old Glenlivet Scotch plus two tickets to the tour. For those busy elsewhere on Fathers’ Day, the venue has also arranged a series of three whisky masterclasses, taking place on 29 June, 6 and 20 July. Priced at £49 for two tickets, the masterclass explores five single malt Scotch whiskies and a blended Scotch.

Dia Del Padre

La Tasca is celebrating Fathers’ Day in true Spanish style, with a one off Dia Del Padre tapas menu priced at £10.95 per person. Diners can order one of five available starters, plus a selection of up to five tapas dishes. Similar to Prezzo’s offer, dads eating at the Spanish restaurant chain will be offered a complimentary bottle of San Miguel lager.

Free drink

Italian restaurant chain Prezzo hopes to attract family diners this Fathers’ Day by offering dads a free drink with their meal. Dads can choose to treat themselves with a glass of Peroni, house red or white wine or a soft drink at any one of its 170 UK restaurants.

Dinner and films

Firmdale Hotels has ensured they have a Fathers’ Day promotion running at each of its four London hotels this 19 June. Both The Soho Hotel and Charlotte Street Hotel are hosting Film Clubs to celebrate the day. For £40 per person, dads can fill up on a Sunday roast at Charlotte Street with a glass of wine or beer before heading to the screening room to watch Hanna. Those dads visiting the Soho Hotel can enjoy a three course lunch before viewing Thor in 3D for the same price, although dads eating with three others will be given their meal for free. Firmdale’s Covent Garden and Haymarket hotels are hosting lower key affairs, with a respective special brunch and traditional roast dinner priced at £22.50 per person.
