Manchester's Lowry Hotel has seen the return of its former River Restaurant manager Huseyin Bozkurt.
Bozkurt, who left the hotel in 2005, has been appointed bar and restaurant manager for Rocco Forte's Manchester venue where he will oversee a team of 45 people.
In his new role Bozkurt, who has also worked at Ithaca, Mash and Air, will be responsible for ensuring that food and service meet the hotel's standards and for introducing new products and services to both the bar and restaurant.
Hotel and conference venue owner Principal Hayley has also appointed a new manager to its 114-bedroom Kenwood Hall Hotel in Sheffield.
Janet Gurr, a former senior manager at Sheffield United, joins the hotel from its sister venue the Derbyshire Hotel.
She said: “I am delighted to be back in Sheffield and working at Kenwood Hall. This is a fantastic venue to be the manager of. The recent refurbishment to its Old House, coupled with its stunning 12-acre grounds, make it a wonderful venue to work in.
“My aim is to continue the task of securing Kenwood’s position as one of the city’s top destinations for business and leisure tourism."
