15 feet below sea level in a coral reef lies Ithaa - the world's first underwater restaurant.

The peace and tranquility of a coral reef wouldn't strike me as an ideal place to tuck into a delicious meal but at the Conrad Maldives Rangali Island resort the idea was not only appealing, but applied.

With just 14 seats encased in an acrylic tube, you won't be surrounded by human company but rays, groupers and triggerfish may well eye up your calimari jealously.

The music's quite annoying and this video takes a while to get going, but it does look pretty amazing.
