AA reveals B&B award shortlist

B&Bs in Cornwall, Cumbria and the Isle of Wight will battle it out for the title of Funkiest B&B in the UK at the AA’s B&B Awards next month.

Bangors Organic in Bude, Cornwall, Moss Grove Organic in Grasmere, Cumbria and Enchanted Manor at Niton on the Isle of Wight have been shortlisted for the AA Funkiest B&B of the Year in the awards which recognise and reward the excellent service provided by people running their own businesses.Enchanted manor, Niton - amoung the shortlist

For the first time, the awards will also honour the top B&B in London with The New Linden in Notting Hill, San Domenico House in Chelsea and The St George in Langham Place, W1 all vying for the title.

Twenty couples and individuals running B&Bs across the UK have also been shortlisted for the Friendliest Landlady title and will find out at the events ceremony at London’s Mandarin Oriental hotel on June 4 if they are the winner.

The finalists for the AA Guest Accommodation of the Year – England, Scotland, and Wales - will be kept under wraps and announced at the awards ceremony.

The AA B&B Awards, now in its 15th year, is a branch of the AA’s Hospitality Awards, which cover the finest of all AA-inspected and rated hotels, restaurants, guesthouses and B&Bs.
